These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SelfAI – AI Photo Studio, including the SelfAI iOS app, Android app, the web app at app.selfaiphoto.com and the marketing site at https://www.selfaiphotoapp.com (the “Services”). The Services are operated by Rocket Digital Limited (“SelfAI,” “we,” “our,” “us”). By using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use SelfAI. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
The AI Photo Studio Service
SelfAI is an AI photo studio app and AI headshot generator. You upload selfies or portraits, choose a style, and SelfAI generates AI photos such as headshots, business portraits, profile pictures, avatars and personal branding images. AI photo generation relies on third-party AI providers (including Replicate, Fal.ai, OpenAI and Microsoft Azure).
Subscriptions and Purchases
SelfAI offers free and paid plans. Subscriptions are billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed through RevenueCat. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. Cancel through your App Store or Google Play account at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge. Refunds, where available, are governed by Apple’s and Google’s policies.
Your Content
You retain ownership of selfies and portraits you upload (“Your Content”). You grant SelfAI a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit and display Your Content for the limited purpose of operating the Services and generating AI photos for you.
Generated AI Photos
Subject to these Terms and your compliance with applicable law, you own the AI photos SelfAI generates from your inputs and may use them for personal and commercial purposes, including LinkedIn, CV, business profiles, social media and creator branding. AI outputs may not be unique and similar outputs may be generated for other users.
Acceptable Use
- Do not upload photos of any person without that person’s clear, informed consent.
- Do not upload photos of minors.
- Do not use SelfAI to create content that is sexual, defamatory, harassing, deceptive, illegal or that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Do not impersonate others or create AI photos to mislead, defraud or commit identity theft.
- Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape or interfere with the Services.
AI Disclaimers
AI outputs are generated by machine-learning systems and may contain inaccuracies, artifacts or unrealistic features. Realism depends on the original photo, lighting, pose, image quality and selected style. No AI photo studio guarantees perfect or always-realistic results. Review AI photos before using them on professional or public-facing profiles.
Third-Party Services
The Services rely on Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Firebase, Google AdMob, OpenAI, Microsoft Azure, Replicate, Fal.ai, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and Vercel Analytics. Their terms and privacy practices apply to the parts of the Services they power.
Intellectual Property
SelfAI, the SelfAI logo and the Services are owned by Rocket Digital Limited and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Services in a way that creates risk for SelfAI or other users. You can stop using the Services at any time and request account deletion by contacting hello@rocketdigital.ai.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SelfAI disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rocket Digital Limited and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, data or goodwill arising from or relating to the Services. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid SelfAI in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability or (b) USD 100.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Hong Kong, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Services or by email. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
